Seeing that, Connor let out a slight sigh of relief and sneered. “That trash really is embarrassing. He just used some cheap trick earlier. Did he really think he could compete with Seamie?” If Skyler really outshone Seamus, Connor would lose face. Fortunately, that didn’t happen. Teagan shook her head in disappointment. Earlier, Skyler had punched out over ten thousand pounds of force and even guided Helen to unleash strength comparable to the ninth stage of the Postnatal Realm despite only being at the sixth stage. She had thought he might actually be able to compete with Seamus. Now, it seemed she had overestimated him. Skyler was still far inferior to Seamus. But just then, someone suddenly shouted in shock, “Look at Skyler’s points! H-How is this possible?!” “Hmm?” Hearing that, everyone looked toward Skyler’s name on the big screen. His score was rising at a terrifying speed—more than ten times faster than Seamus’s own pace earlier. It rose to 300 points, 500 points, 1,000 points, and more. In just three minutes, Skyler’s score had not only surpassed Seamus’s but also reached a jaw-dropping number. It reached 3,000 points! For a moment, Connor and Teagan’s expressions froze completely. What did 3,000 points mean? It meant Skyler had slaughtered all the demonic beasts in the test area. It meant a perfect score of 500 exam points. Most importantly, it had only been eight minutes. If Skyler had been given more demonic beasts, just how many points could he have reached? It was unimaginable. A sentence simultaneously appeared in everyone’s mind. “He got 500 points only because 500 is the maximum score!” Teagan finally understood why her father thought so highly of Skyler. How was Skyler a loser? He was clearly a genius among geniuses. Especially his efficiency in killing demonic beasts—it was downright terrifying. Even she, a genuine fourth-stage Innate Realm expert, would likely be completely crushed if she entered the mock exam with him. As for Connor, his expression had already darkened to the extreme. Looking at Seamus’s pitiful 500 points next to Skyler’s 3,000, it felt like his face had been slapped hard in public. Even Alice hadn’t expected Skyler’s performance to be that outstanding. Only Raymond’s gaze flickered thoughtfully. Skyler was truly beyond his expectations. Although he still might not have enough to contend for the national martial SAT top scorer, he was already no weaker than the members of those prestigious families. Not only Skyler. Everyone was shocked to discover that Helen, who had been guided by Skyler, was rapidly catching up as well. She soon tied with Freya. If she maintained this pace, surpassing Freya was only a matter of time. “Who exactly is Skyler?” Everyone was utterly stunned. Being strong himself was one thing. But with just a few casual pointers, he had actually elevated Helen to the point where she could surpass Freya. Even the best instructors in all of Riverspire High couldn’t possibly achieve something like that so easily. Before long, the test finally ended. Skyler and the others came out of the Myriad Beast Atlas. Seamus stood proudly, immediately locking onto his name on the screen. It was 1,870 points. He deliberately shook his head and said, “Not bad, but I still didn’t bring out my full strength—” Before he could finish, the examiner’s voice rang out. “Skyler, 3,000 points. Perfect score: 500 exam points.” Seamus’s voice stopped abruptly. “What?” He thought he had misheard and quickly looked toward the very top of the screen. Skyler’s name was displayed there, clearly in first place. The number behind it was blinding. Not only Seamus, but Freya and Helen were also stunned. Skyler actually got a perfect score! How was that possible? The examiner continued, “Seamus, 1,870 points, 461 exam points.” Even though it was still an excellent score, it was completely overshadowed by Skyler’s brilliance. “Helen, 1,450 points, 425 exam points. “Freya, 1,200 points, 400 exam points.” With that announcement, Seamus and Freya’s expressions changed again. Helen had really surpassed Freya. And not by a little, but by a full 25 points. Combined with the strength test earlier, Helen was ahead by one point overall. Even though she lagged in cultivation by 15 points, her total score was still higher. “Damn it!” Freya gritted her teeth. Seamus also felt utterly humiliated and turned to leave with a dark expression. “Seamus, don’t leave yet. Mr. Hunt hasn’t announced the rankings,” Skyler said casually with a mocking smile. Seamus’s face darkened even further, but he could only stop. Raymond smiled faintly. “Although some students haven’t finished the third round yet, I believe the top three in this mock exam can already be determined. “Then I’ll announce the top three of this mock exam and present their rewards. “First place—Skyler. Total score: 719. “Second place—Seamus. Total score: 700. “Third place—Helen. Total score: 604. “Please come up to the stage to receive your rewards. Chief Yount and I will personally award them.” Skyler glanced teasingly at Seamus and Freya before walking up alongside Helen.
