Taking in the scene, even Connor was shocked, because this earthflame pill was extraordinarily precious, worth a fortune and impossible to come by.
He’d never expected Lorenzo to hand over such a valuable gift the moment he made his move.
“Seamie, hurry up and accept it,” Connor prompted quickly, afraid Lorenzo might change his mind.
With that, Connor quickly gave a gracious nod, beaming as he said, “Governor Eaton, you’re far too generous. Please, have a seat.”
As for the guests in attendance, they were left gasping in astonishment one after another.
“The governor came in person, and he brought such a weighty gift on top of it. It seems he thinks very highly of Seamus as well.”
“The Younts really have produced a golden boy. Seamus’s future is probably beyond all limits
now.”
But right at that moment, an even more shocking development unfolded.
A sweet, melodious woman’s voice drifted in from beyond the door. “Jennifer of the Leonards of Imperia, here to pay a call!”
“What? The Leonards of Imperia?”
That one simple sentence instantly sent today’s celebration banquet to a fever pitch, and everyone present was thrown into an uproar.
“Why would someone from the Leonards of Imperia come here? Could they be here for Seamus too?”
“My goodness, could Seamus’s talent already have reached such a level that even the Leonards of Imperia have taken notice?”
Everyone’s expression changed completely as they looked at Seamus.
If Seamus merely had decent talent, along with the standing that came with being Connor’s son, they’d value him, but they wouldn’t need to take him all that seriously.
But if even the Leonards of Imperia held him in such high regard, then it was an entirely different matter, and Seamus’s future was simply beyond measure.

In that instant, Patrick and Freya were suddenly overjoyed, because it seemed they’d placed their bet on exactly the right person this time.
Lorenzo, for his part, wore his delight openly. The distinguished guest from the Leonards really had come after all. Thank goodness he had good sources and had come ahead of time to build a solid rapport with the Younts.
The next moment, a young woman of stunning beauty and noble bearing walked in, and she was none other than Jennifer.
Only then did Connor and Alice come to their senses, both startled and delighted, and they hurried forward to greet her.
His face full of courtesy, Connor said, “I had no idea you’d be paying us a visit, Ms. Leonard. Forgive me for not welcoming you properly, and please don’t hold it against me.”
He’d heard of the Leonards of Imperia and their formidable name, for they were a Heavenly Realm lineage that hadn’t declined in a thousand years.
Word had it that the Leonards’ Heavenly Realm ancestor was nearing the end of his lifespan and likely wouldn’t be long for this world, and that there was no especially outstanding genius among the younger generation.
But a fading giant was still a giant, because the Leonards had three Saint Realm experts alone, and even if their Heavenly Realm ancestor passed on, they would remain a colossal power seated at the very pinnacle of Chanaea.
Jennifer smiled gently. “You’re too kind, Mr. Yount. Just call me Jennifer. There’s no need to be so formal.”
Connor was instantly overwhelmed by the honor. “You’re far too kind, far too kind.”
Jennifer gave a slight smile and took out an emerald vial, handing it to Connor. “There’s a drop of Dragon Essence in here, a welcoming gift from me. Please do accept it, Mr. Yount.”
“What? Dragon Essence?” The crowd all around broke into a startled uproar.
Even Patrick and Lorenzo hadn’t expected Jennifer to be so extraordinarily generous.
“This is…” Connor opened the emerald vial and gave it a light sniff, then couldn’t help exclaiming in shock, “This is top-grade Dragon Essence, completely undiluted!”
After all, Dragon Essence was a supreme treasure for tempering the body and strengthening one’s internal energy.

Undiluted Dragon Essence in particular worked on every martial artist below the Ascension Realm, and even for an Archmaster Realm expert like himself, it was a rare and priceless
treasure.
He’d never imagined that Jennifer would give away such a precious treasure as nothing more than a welcoming gift.
“Seamie, hurry and thank Ms. Leonard,” Connor said quickly, urging Seamus to express his gratitude to Jennifer.
Though he was the commander-in-chief of Southmere’s Demon Suppression Division and his own cultivation had reached the Archmaster Realm, he was in no way worth the Leonards courting so intently.
So Jennifer’s aim today was crystal clear, because she had absolutely come for Seamus.
Seamus was overjoyed as well, because with the backing of the Leonards of Imperia, Skyler wasn’t worth a damn.
Thinking this, Seamus immediately stepped forward.
But before Seamus could get a word out, Jennifer stopped him. “There’s no need for that, Mr. Yount. This Dragon Essence is just a small token of my regard that I prepared for you.
“As for Seamus, I’ve prepared a far greater gift for him separately.”
As she said this, Jennifer’s gaze swept lightly over Seamus, and her brow furrowed almost imperceptibly.
According to what Israel had said, Seamus was already a half-step Heavenly Realm expert despite his youth, so how could the Seamus standing before her have a mere Innate Realm cultivation?
What’s more, the aura about him seemed a little off too, nothing at all like someone who’d spent years fighting on the battlefield.
Still, Jennifer didn’t dwell on it, since Israel had no reason to deceive her, and Seamus was most likely just so strong that he was deliberately concealing his cultivation, leaving her unable to see through it.
Connor, Alice, and the others, meanwhile, felt a jolt in their hearts. So this Dragon Essence hadn’t been meant for Seamus at all, but for them instead?
And if a treasure like Dragon Essence was, in Jennifer’s words, nothing more than a small token, then just how precious was the greater gift she’d prepared?

It was almost impossible to imagine.
Seamus’s eyes lit up and positively gleamed.
Come
Jennifer didn’t drag out the suspense either, and with a flip of her hand, a gleaming silver spear appeared in her grip.
She gave it a light swing, and at once a dragon’s cry rang out. shaking the sky.
“This is…” The instant he saw that spear, even Connor couldn’t stop his pupils from contracting sharply.
Although the people present couldn’t make out its grade, they could still be certain that it was absolutely an extraordinary treasure.
As for Seamus, he was trembling from head to toe with excitement.
