But the sky had already become a restricted zone. Were they supposed to wait until the Winged Serpents got closer before attacking? There were only a little over a hundred students, so it would be extremely difficult to protect everyone under such complicated circumstances.

Skyler smiled. “Quinn, you won the gold medal in the academy’s military formation competition. You can’t tell me you don’t know how to handle a battle this simple! Don’t let the emergency throw you off Jus calm down!”

Skyler’s voice seemed to have a strange magic to it. With his encouragement, Quinn actually managed to calm down.

“Thanks, Skyler. Everyone, listen to my orders! Gordon, take all the students at Archmaster Realm and above and spread out. Get all the buses together!”

“Got it!” Gordon didn’t waste a single second. He led more than 50 students out of the military vehicle.

Quinn continued giving orders. “Barrier class, set up your barriers right here. Protect all the civilians!”

“Right!” Toby cupped his fist in his palm and led more than 30 students from barrier class out of the vehicle. They immediately raised a hemispherical barrier that covered all the buses.

Quinn turned to Glen. “Glen, take the sensing class and sense the area with everything you’ve got. Find where the Winged Serpents are most concentrated.”

Glen said nothing. He and several students beside him sat down cross-legged and closed their eyes, focusing all their energy on sensing the area.

The next moment, several sets of coordinates suddenly appeared in everyone’s minds at the same time, as if several dazzling red dots had appeared in the middle of the dark, oppressive sky.

Quinn took a deep breath, his eyes filled with confidence.

“Everyone else, use your strongest long-range skills. Hit those coordinates and wipe out those demonic

beasts!”

As soon as he said that, everyone became excited. The students jumped out of the vehicles and spread out inside the barrier. Each of them activated their martial arts, gathered their internal energy, and unleashed a barrage of attacks toward the coordinates in the sky.

The Archmaster Realm experts unleashed their full power, and their attacks were devastating. Flashes of various martial arts lit up the sky and continuously exploded among the Winged Serpents.

The Winged Serpents’ screams instantly echoed across the battlefield. Countless chunks of flesh mixed with thick, filthy blood rained down from the sky, as if it were raining blood.

Before long, Gordon had gathered all the buses together, and the barrier class students quickly reduced the size of the barrier, easing the pressure on themselves.

Finally, the Winged Serpents reached the barrier. They immediately launched an attack against it.

Countless Winged Serpents slammed fearlessly into the barrier. Although they were only first-tier

monic beasts and weren’t particularly strong individually, their relentless attacks, coming down like a torrential rain, still put enormous pressure on the barrier class students.

Before long, Toby’s forehead was covered in sweat.

Gordon hurried over to Quinn to report that the buses had been secured. When he saw the grim look on Toby’s face, he immediately called the Ascension Realm experts who had been spread out around the are over to him.

“We’ll attack together and wipe out these demonic beasts as quickly as possible. That’ll take some pressure off the barrier class!”

“Stop!” Skyler grabbed Gordon by the arm. “Who told you to abandon your post and gather the Ascension Realm members?”

Gordon froze after being shouted at and awkwardly scratched his head. “I… I just wanted to take some pressure off the barrier class.”

Skyler glared at him. “They’re nothing but first-tier demonic beasts. You really think the barrier class can’t hold them off? Have a little more faith in your teammates!”

Gordon’s face turned bright red, and he immediately lowered his arm,

“Then what can I do?”

Skyler didn’t answer. Instead, he immediately looked toward Quinn.

The biggest thing to avoid in the middle of a battle was changing commanders. Skyler had already made a major mistake by forcibly taking command away from Seamus. He didn’t want to give these students the wrong idea about how to conduct themselves on a battlefield.

Quinn understood what Skyler meant and nodded. “Skyler, I’m putting the mobile unit under your command. Make sure you stop every enemy that comes our way!”

“Yes, sir!” Skyler cupped his fist in his palm, grabbed Gordon, and ran.

Gordon stumbled as Skyler dragged him along. “Skyler, why are you dragging me with you?”

Skyler said nothing. His eyes kept scanning the surroundings, and he quickly figured out the terrain.

“Gordon, the ravine at seven o’clock. Hit it with everything you’ve got!”

Although Gordon had no idea what Skyler was trying to do, he instinctively chose to trust him.

He planted his feet firmly, spread his palms apart, and in an instant, the sound of roaring dragons filled the air. A golden dragon began taking shape between his palms.

With a furious roar, he thrust both palms forward. A barrel-thick golden divine dragon burst from his palms and slammed into the ravine Skyler had pointed toward.

Just as it struck, over a dozen fourth-tier demonic beasts happened to crawl out of the ravine. Before they

uld even react, they were swallowed head-on by the golden dragon.

Their screams and cries rang out without end.

When the golden dragon’s image finally faded, nothing remained on the ground but broken limbs and mangled bodies.

“Your Dragon Shadow Palm is pretty good. That was impressive!” Skyler grinned and patted Gordon on the shoulder before quickly running toward the distance.

Gordon stared blankly at the spot where Skyler had patted him, looking completely dazed.

Why did that feel like he had just been praised by a senior? Skyler was supposed to be his junior!

“Skyler, where are you going? What am I supposed to do now?”

Without even looking back, Skyler kept his head down and sprinted forward.

“Stay here and guard this ravine. If even one demonic beast comes through here and hits the barrier. I’ll hold you responsible!”

For the rest of the battle, Skyler kept darting back and forth across the battlefield, directing the Ascension Realm experts to stop the demonic beasts that tried to use the terrain as cover and launch surprise attacks on the barrier.

Everyone was astonished to discover that Skyler seemed to be able to predict the future. The demonic beasts hadn’t even appeared yet, but he had already figured out where they were coming from.
