He took a single step forward, and that terrifying aura enveloped both Skyler and Helen at once. “Stop right there!”

“That’s enough!” But right at that moment, a cold rebuke suddenly rang out. 

Winston’s and Freya’s expressions changed at the same time, and the aura around Winston instantly receded like an ebbing tide. 

Freya, for her part, put on a well-behaved face. “Mrs. Yount.” 

The newcomer was none other than Alice.

“What? Ten drops of Dragon Essence diluted ten thousand times?” Helen was shocked. 

The Younts really did have deep reserves. 

Two days ago, Raymond had produced just a single drop of Dragon Essence diluted ten thousand times, and it had stunned everyone. 

Today Alice had brought out ten drops in one go. 

And given how much the Younts doted on Seamus, they surely had far more Dragon Essence than just this, without a doubt. 

Not far off, Winston and Freya’s expression shifted, because they knew exactly where this Dragon Essence had come from-only they’d never expected Alice would give it to Skyler. 

Only Skyler didn’t so much as glance at the Dragon Essence, merely sweeping an expressionless look over Alice. “Mrs. Yount, I’ve said it many times. Just call me by my first name, Skyler. You and I aren’t close.” 

A flash of awkwardness crossed Alice’s face.

Seamus, meanwhile, watched Skyler with one cold laugh after another, and said with no small amount of gloating, “Mom, this is a gift from Ms. Leonard to the Younts. 

“Skyler already cut all ties with our family, so what right does he have to use anything of ours?” 

Hearing this, a strange look suddenly came over Skyler’s face. 

Seamus was saying the Younts’ Dragon Essence had been given to them by that girl Jennifer? 

“Oh? Jennifer?” A strange expression crossed Skyler’s face. 

He’d wondered about it, because something like Dragon Essence was practically an exclusive supply of those great families and lineages, and it rarely ever made its way out into the world, so how could the Younts have so much of it? 

So it turned out Jennifer had given it to them.

“Ms. Leonard was even going to give me a Saint Realm spear, but she was worried I couldn’t yet bring out the full power of a Saint Realm spear, so she took it back for the time being.” 

Seamus boasted without so much as a change in his expression or a skipped heartbeat. “But Ms. Leonard already promised me that once I can cultivate to the Ascension Realm someday, she’ll give me that Saint Realm spear for sure.” 

After all, Skyler didn’t know the real story, so this was the perfect chance to brag right in his face. 

Hearing this, Skyler couldn’t help but be dumbfounded, and let out a helpless laugh. 

It would’ve been one thing for Seamus to use this line to fool other people, but he actually had the gall to try it on him. Didn’t Seamus realize that the Saint Realm spear was right there in his own hands? 

What’s more, this Saint Realm spear was something Skyler had specifically requested, and forget a small fry like Jennifer-even Israel wouldn’t dare casually promise it away to anyone else.
