Ch. Bounded To My Mate 11 Bounded To My Mate 11
Chapter 11
very trace of color drained from Ella’s face, leaving her white as a sheet.
Wild–eyed, Ella pointed at Robert and Diane and screamed herself hoarse. “Get out! Security, throw them out!
“I’m not their daughter! Tell them to stop saying I am!”
The smiles on both of their faces froze in an instant:
Robert and Diane looked at her in disappointment. Tears spilled down Diane’s cheeks…
“Ella, I only thought you were a little vain.
“I never imagined you’d turn into someone like this.”
Jack, who had stood frozen through the whole exchange, finally came to his senses.
His face darkened. He seized Ella’s wrist and squeezed so hard he nearly crushed the bones.
“Explain this to me. What is going on? Weren’t you supposed to be an heiress?”
Surrounded by mocking stares, he had never felt so humiliated.
“You booked a wedding this expensive. You weren’t planning on making me pay for it, were you?”
Jack shook her, his voice trembling with urgency. “Do you even have the hundreds of thousands of dollars this is going to cost?”
I stood to one side, idly admiring my fresh French manicure, and kindly reminded the groom who was about to go bankrupt, “It’s over a million, and that’s before the decorations.”
At that number, Jack’s legs buckled and he nearly dropped to his knees. His expression grew even more stricken.
Ella kept thrashing and babbling incoherent excuses. “Jack, listen to me! They’re frauds! Sophie hired them to put on a show!”
But the hundreds of witnesses around them could see the truth for themselves.
Ella’s resemblance to Robert and Diane was unmistakable. No one believed another word she said.
Jeers rose all around her, each one a blade stabbing at the last shreds of her dignity.
“All those years playing the heiress and she’s a fake!”
“Disowning her own parents just to look rich? She’s lower than dirt!”
“I can’t breathe. Some heiress. That dress is probably rented!”
“Jack has the worst luck imaginable, marrying a fake socialite and taking on a million in debt. Serves him right!”
Ella finally broke.
She covered her ears and shook her head wildly, as though that could shut the sound out.
“No! That’s not true! My family is rich! My parents are rich! I’m an heiress!”
I watched the farce coldly and snapped my fingers.
The 4K LED wall went dark, then filled with dense rows of message screenshots.

“Look! What is that?”
Achorus of shocked cries erupted from the crowd.
They were screenshots from the high school group chat over the past few days, alongside the vicious comments used to harass me online seven years ago.
Then a list appeared in the center of the 4K LED wall.
It clearly listed the bullies who had led the others in shoving me into the mud pit and cutting up my school
uniform.
Not a sound in the place.
Below the stage, Tom and the others went ashen.
A moment ago, they had been laughing loudly at Ella. Now they fell silent as if someone had clamped a hand around their throats.
“Turn it off! Turn it off now!” Tom screamed in terror and scrambled toward the control console, reaching for the power cord. Several burly security guards stood ready nearby.
“Let go of me! This is a violation of privacy!”
The guards pinned Tom to the ground while he thrashed and roared, helpless and humiliated.
“Does everyone see it now?” I met the gaze of hundreds of people around me, then looked into the livestream cameras trained on me.
“This is the heiress you’ve all fawned over, along with her fine, upstanding friends.
“Seven years ago, they hurled the vilest insults at me because of my body.
“Seven years later, they were still reveling in the online pile–on, trying to destroy me all over again by making me ashamed of how I looked.”
I paused and swept my gaze across the faces of those who had once watched with cold indifference.
“But today, I’m standing here. I wasn’t destroyed.”
