Skyler was just too terrifying. By comparison, Seamus was like a wet-behind-the-cars little
brat.
Not much ability to speak of, yet proud beyond all reason.
Skyler paid her no mind and took another step forward, closing the distance between himself and Seamus.
“Stop!” Right at that moment, an anxious voice came from beyond the door.
A middle-aged man strode quickly inside, the aura about him extremely powerful, for he was actually a Grandmaster Realm expert.
Seeing that Skyler meant to make a move against Seamus, he barked out sternly, “Skyler, private fights are forbidden on school grounds. Stop this at once!”
Seamus was Connor’s beloved son, and if anything happened to him at school, the trouble would be enormous.
Only then did the students in class finally come to their senses, their expressions shifting slightly. “Mr. Howard.”
“Mr. Howard’s here. Now Skyler probably won’t be able to touch Seamus.”
Quillan Howard was a Grandmaster Realm expert, and no matter how impressive Skyler was, he was still just a mere second stage of the Innate Realm, so there was no way he’d dare resort to violence right in front of him.
Yet Skyler didn’t so much as glance at Quillan, and with his third step he’d already arrived right in front of Seamus.
Quillan flew into a rage. “You wouldn’t dare!”
This Skyler was far too brazen, actually daring to resort to violence right in front of him, which meant he didn’t take him the least bit seriously.
It seemed today he’d have to teach Skyler a proper lesson.
But before he could make his move, Skyler suddenly turned a cool gaze on him.
Boom!

With just a single glance, Quillan felt an overwhelming killing intent come bearing down as though to blot out the sky.
Their school kept in contact with the nearby military units, often taking students out to sharpen their real combat skills, so he’d seen his fair share of soldiers.
Among them were quite a few high-ranking officers.
Yet even the killing intent about them didn’t come close to a ten-thousandth of Skyler’s.
This Skyler is so young, so what on earth did he go through?
But before he could dwell on it any further, Skyler’s voice rang out coolly. “For Mr. Howard’s sake, I’ll spare his life, but he won’t get off scot-free.”
Only then did Quillan snap out of it and hurriedly look toward Skyler.
He saw Skyler kick out with one foot, and Seamus’s body was instantly sent tumbling violently backward, slamming hard into the wall.
His chest caved in and he spat out fresh blood, mixed with what looked like fragments of his internal organs.
“This is bad!” Quillan’s face turned ugly, and he rushed over to check on Seamus’s condition.
“What?” The others in the classroom finally reacted by this point too, all of them looking at Skyler in utter shock.
Wasn’t Skyler being far too vicious? Actually beating Seamus into this state right in front of Mr. Howard?
“Broken sternum, ruptured organs, spiritual trauma…” After a rough examination, Quillan’s face grew uglier and uglier.
With something like this happening right under his nose, how was he supposed to answer to Connor?
Quillan quickly took out a pill and had Seamus swallow it to stabilize his injuries, then turned a cold look on Skyler. “Skyler, come with me to the principal’s office.”
This whole thing could only be handed over to the principal now.
“Mr. Howard.” Hearing this, Helen quickly stepped forward and explained on Skyler’s behalf, “Seamus struck first. Skyler was only defending himself.”
“Defending himself?” Quillan let out a cold laugh. “He commits violence right in front of me

and still calls it defending himself. Whatever you’ve got to say, save it for the principal.”
Helen wanted to say more, but Skyler gave her a reassuring look. “It’s fine.”
Quillan quickly scooped up Seamus and took Skyler off to the principal’s office.
The classroom immediately erupted into a commotion.
“What do you all think? Skyler’s not going to be in trouble, is he?”
“How could he not be? That Seamus is the son of the commander-in-chief of Southmere’s Demon Suppression Division, and two days ago everyone saw for themselves how much Chief Yount dotes on this son. Now that he’s been hurt this badly, how could he ever let Skyler off?”
“That’s right. Even Mr. Hunt has no choice but to show Chief Yount some respect. If you ask me, Skyler’s really in for it this time, and even if it doesn’t kill him, he’ll be left worse for wear.”
“Man, he really was too reckless. Even if Seamus provoked him first, he should’ve left it at defending himself, yet after Mr. Howard barked at him, he actually still had the nerve to attack.”
The crowd shook their heads one after another, already able to picture how Skyler would end
Helen’s eyes, meanwhile, were full of worry.
Meanwhile, in Raymond’s office.
A middle-aged man in military uniform, an imposing air about him, sat there, and he was none other than Dominic.
“Then it’s settled. I’ll have my people clear out the high-level demonic beasts outside the city over the next few days, and when that’s done, your school’s teachers can take the students out of the city to train.
“I’ve got some things to attend to, so I’ll be on my way.” As Dominic spoke, he was just about to rise to leave.
Right at that moment, Quillan’s voice came from beyond the door. “Mr. Hunt, something’s wrong. Seamus has been badly hurt.”
“Hm?” Just about to leave, Dominic sat back down at the words.

Raymond was a bit surprised too, because Seamus was Connor’s beloved son, and his strength was among the very best of the students, so who could have beaten him this badly?
Wait!
It wouldn’t happen to be that Skyler, would it?
Among the students, he was probably the only one who could injure Seamus.
Raymond glanced at Dominic beside him and said, “Come in.”
He saw Quillan walk in carrying the gravely wounded Seamus, and sure enough, the one following behind him was none other than Skyler.
Raymond felt a wave of a headache coming on, because this was going to be tricky to handle.
Skyler and Seamus were both Connor’s sons, only Seamus was the more favored one, while Skyler had fallen out with the family.
Even a fair-minded judge would find a family quarrel hard to settle, yet here he was, having to sort out the business between the Yount brothers.
Still, thankfully Dominic was here too, and since Skyler was the very person he’d recommended, he could ask for his opinion in a moment.
