Chapter 4 My Daughter Is Gorgeous!

“Who are you?” Skyler felt her face was somewhat familiar, but he couldn’t remember who she was.
“I’m Teagan. Mrs. Yount said you ran away from home after you returned, so she asked my mom to look after you for a while. I just happened to be nearby, so my mom told me to come pick you up.”
Teagan Webb wasn’t warm. It was more like she was completing a task. She nodded toward the passenger seat. “Get in.”
Only then did Skyler remember that Alice had a close friend, Rosie Webb. The girl in front of him was Rosie’s daughter.
He had met her once or twice before, but they weren’t familiar with each other, so she didn’t leave much of an impression.
“I appreciate Mrs. Webb’s kindness, but I’ve already cut ties with Alice. There’s no need for her to arrange for anyone to take care of me. You can go back.” Skyler said flatly.
“Suit yourself.” Teagan rolled her eyes.
She didn’t want to bring him home anyway, nor did she want to live with a stranger.

Skyler smiled. “We’re not on the battlefield. No need for formalities. Just call me Skyler.”
Dominic laughed heartily. “Alright, I won’t be formal then.”
As he opened the car door, he asked casually, “By the way, Seamus, how many stars are you at now?”
He had personally watched Skyler rise step by step. In just two years, Skyler had grown from an ordinary soldier to the youngest general in all of Chanaea.
Now, another year had passed. There was no way he was still just a one-star major general.
“Four,” Skyler replied.
Before Dominic could be shocked, Skyler added calmly, “I just finished a western border mission today and killed Silverwyrm.
“In a few more days, I should reach five stars.”
Dominic sucked in a cold breath.
There were very few five-star generals in Chanaea.
An 18-year-old five-star general was beyond imagination.
Then Dominic suddenly brightened and asked, “Seamus, you’re not engaged and don’t have a girlfriend, right?”
“I used to, but not anymore,” Skyler said honestly.
Dominic’s eyes lit up immediately. He couldn’t believe some woman could be so foolish as to have an engagement with such a prodigy and fail to value it.
“That’s perfect. I’ve got a gorgeous daughter. She’s just two years older than you. I’ll introduce you two in a bit.”
If he could make Skyler his son-in-law, Dominic would probably be laughing in his dreams.

A graceful, elegant middle-aged woman was sitting on the couch and watching TV. She was Rosie, Alice’s close friend.
Just then, Teagan walked in carrying a luxury handbag.
